The Matthew Larson Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation strives to work with the medical community in many ways. We offer annual medical research grants to institutions and programs that are qualified and meet the application criteria of our Medical Advisory Committee. The Medical Advisory Committee reviews all conforming applications and recommends the top programs for consideration to the Board of Directors for review and approval.
The foundation strives to fund and support organizations in the field of pediatic brain and spinal tumors (CNS). The foundation looks to advance the education, coordination,research, family assistance, and any other relevant practices.
IronMatt works closely with the social services departments of health care institutions to provide resources for families and their children as they may need assistance during hospital stays and treatments.
