Jimmy Tedesco
I am 23 years old from Dumont, NJ
and the Marine Corp Marathon will be my first full marathon. I am very
excited to be doing this for Iron Matt. My goal is to train hard, raise
awareness and money for this great organization, and to cross that finish line
in October like the champion we all knew Matt was! Finishing a marathon
has been my dream since I started doing these competitive type races in
college. My two big races in the past have been the Wyckoff triathlon and the Walt Disney Half
marathon in 2006. Since graduating college in 2006, I've taken some time
away from training to focus on working full time, as well as graduate school on
the weekends. With Graduate school now completed, I'm ready to tackle the
challenge of crossing that finish line!

Jody-Lynn Reicher
After 6 days of running Jody-Lynn Reicher finished her "Out N Back of NJ Run" just outside of Franklin Township in Middlesex County, on her way back up the state. She had completed 370 miles in 6 days. Jody-Lynn Reicher raised $810 for IronMatt. She holds the Womens's North American indoor treadmill record of 114.03 miles.

Kenji Kasajima
The West Point Triathlon will be my first challenge
for triathlon. I’m taking a part of bike. I used to play basketball from junior
high school to University, but after I had an injury when I was 27 (I’m now 30
years old), I started playing golf. I love to do any kinds of sport and I’m
pretty sure I can enjoy my fist triathlon race! I work for one of the biggest audit firms. I’m in a rotation
program from Japan since last October and specializing in providing services to
Japanese companies which operate their business in the U.S. I hope my first
triathlon will be enjoyable and encourage my spirit to take another triathlon
race!
Ashley Grossblatt
My name is Ashley Grossblatt, and I am 13
years old, and about to become a Bat Mitzvah. Becoming a Mitzvah is more
than just reading from the Torah and throwing an extravagant party. It is
about learning the responsibilities of becoming an adult as well as giving back
to the community.
As I was searching for a Mitzvah Project,
my best friend Veronica Dunne brought to my attention the IronMatt
Organization. When I read Matt's story, I knew this was the cause I
wanted to help.
On August 30, 2008 my family and friends
are going to walk along the Malibu
coastline in honor of Matt, and to raise $$$ and awareness. I am proud to
become part of team IronMatt.
